Adjacent to the galleries and shops on Historic Ledoux Street, the 200 year old Inger Jirby Guest Houses in Taos, N.M., are one block from Taos Square and nine miles from the Taos Municipal Airport. Taos' rugged beauty is influenced by its Native American heritage and captured at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The Inger Jirby Guest Houses are adjacent to the Inger Jirby Gallery and are surrounded by numerous galleries, museums, studios and shops in the area. The Inger Jirby Guest Houses are comprised of 12 adobe style accommodations featuring mountain views, vaulted ceilings and skylights that canopy flagstone floors. Spiral staircases ascend to loft bedrooms decorated with colorful textiles and art, and include southwestern furnishings and kiva gas fireplaces. Other amenities include coffeemakers, premium bedding, sofa beds and separate sitting areas. Kitchens are complete with refrigerators and microwave ovens, as well as breakfast foods and herb spices for cooking.
